Just a year or two ago Cardon turned eight and was baptized. So for some strange reason he's already twelve and was ordained a deacon on his birthday! Grandma and Grandpa Elwood came and stayed with us and were here for the big day, and Grandma Nance made a whirlwind trip to be here also. Cardon has a lot of people who love him and are cheering him on. Congratulations, Bud, we're all so proud of you!

It was a camping cake this year.
We had a birthday dinner and birthday cake on Sunday, and then Cardon took two friends to an indoor water park later in the week. Turning twelve was a success!
